Molly is the only baby who smiled during pictures. She is a such a happy baby that where ever she goes everyone loves her.

Where to walk when it gets dark early...

We walk almost every day after dinner but as it is getting darker in the winter we have fewer interesting places to go. Here is mommy and molly sitting on a couch in the mall.

Five months ago today Molly entered our lives. We are so lucky!

Holloween party

We had the Las Madres 2007 "Monster Mash" party today. Molly wore her goth-girl outfit... and even one a prize for best costume for the playgroup! Mom and dad dressed up too... Wendy was "goth-mom" and Adam was the working devil. Molly tolerated the whole thing very well and is now recovering with a nap.

The wine coop was meeting today for a Syrah crush. Here is Molly and Wendy in the foreground with the wine press in the back. Molly didn't get any wine but her shirt was stained from all the people holding her with wine on her hands.

Illness of the week club

More excitement in the Adams' household. This weekend, Molly is experimenting with projectile vomiting. Not a lot of fun for anyone... apparently a stomach flu is going around at school and our beautiful girl caught it.

In addition to this lovely turn of events, and the uncertain shadow it casts across the rest of the weekend, we decided to have another adventure last night. Molly and Adam were playing and Molly started crying... then she wasn't moving her left arm. She continued to not move her left arm, and looked a little scared... we bundled up and went to Urgent Care, where we discovered that she'd tweaked her left elbow joint (a ligament) and the doctor popped it back in place. This morning you'd never know it had happened, but apparently it is likely to recur. Adam recognized the problem, saying he's had that with his hip and knee in the past. So, now I guess we know to keep an eye on stuff like this for the future.

This morning, Molly is pretty happy. Kinda glad about that and crossing our fingers that the vomiting episodes are over.

• She is 25 inches long (74th percentile)
• 41.041 cm head circumference (50th percentile)

She also received five shots... ouch!
