Molly is sick.

She's got her first cold. Feels okay today, but last night was awful. Hopefully she'll bounce right back... she's pretty smiley today, despite the occasional coughing.

We did go to the doctor this morning (the coughing was kinda intense last night), just to make sure it was a normal cold and nothing uglier.

She's heavier -- 12 pounds, 12.4 ounces. Healthy baby... aside from the whole sick thing.

Molly has been sleeping nearly all day. Is she sick or just hot?

it's really hot here in San Jose. Over 90. Molly is wearing a little white dress because it is one of the lighter weight and non-clingy things she's got (that currently fits). Here's Molly, melting by the guitar...

Although one might argue that there was some undue influence... that of Daddy's weight on the bed next to her... Molly rolled over today!

She seems to have discovered her hands this morning. She's been gazing at them with rapturous attention...

What's new with Molly

What is new with Molly this week?

1. She started daycare... just a couple of hours or so each day. She seems to love it and everyone there seems to love her. But of course... who wouldn't?
2. She is sleeping through the night... several nights this week: 8 hour stretch between feedings. Yippeee!!!
3. More control over her hands. Tonight she grabbed the burp cloth and shoved it in her mouth. Good baby progress!
