Molly's First European Vacation (part 1: London)

Thought I'd upload a few more pictures now that we're back home.

The first part of our recent trip was in London. We were there for 3 days and visited some of the main sites and played for a couple hours with our friend, Andy...

We decided to spend the day here in town. We went to the Villa Romano, which is the archeological site where an old Roman Villa is in town. It has mosaic floors everywhere, much of which was intact.

Venice - first full day

We have been in Venice for about 18 hours or so now. This morning, we wandered aimlessly in the streets and someone gave Molly a small plastic truck that entertained her for quite a while. We went to the Piazza San Marco and Molly chased pigeons. We just found this internet cafe and Adam was checking his email... but Molly was melting down because she wanted him. So, he grabbed her and gone around the corner down a narrow corridor. There are lots of those here. Molly seems to go back and forth preferring one or the other of us, and when she does she really finds it difficult to be consoled by the other.

Venice is a hard place to have Molly because she really does want to just take off... but, she's awful cute. Again, we're taking pictures, but we'll upload them another time.

Leaving London

We're at Gatwick airport right now, waiting for our flight to Venice. Molly and her parents were in London for the past 3 days and everyone is getting adjusted to the time change. Molly is handling the trip really well (we'll upload photos from another cafe at another time, this one won't let us).

We played with ducks in Hyde Park, played on a real English playground, visited the Tower of London, went on a cruise of the Thames and a bus tour of the city. Molly liked the National Gallery, for the 10 minutes we were there. She also really enjoyed chasing pidgeons in Trafalgar Square.

We got to visit our friend Andy for a couple of hours, which was really fun too!

Really amazed at how wonderfully Molly is handling all of this. She's such a great kid.
