Update from today's visit to the doctor's office

My doctor was not there today, so we met with the nurse practitioner. This was disappointing because the doctor was supposed to discuss inducement dates with us. However, I was assured I'd hear something from him by Thursday.

She did check me out, though.

• My weight is good, my blood pressure is good, etc.
• Baby's heart beat is good (in the 150s)
• Baby is high (what??? Wasn't she low last week???)
• 90% effaced
• 1-2 cm dilated

So, it looks like I may actually have this kid some day! No telling when, but it was great to hear that there's been progress this past week!
