Teething Woes

Molly is teething. The last two nights and days have been rough. She's got two teeth on the bottom front of her mouth now that have, apparently, given her a lot of pain. Much of the time, Molly has her hand in her mouth and is drooling and whining. In the night, she's had a couple of hours of crying inconsolably.

On the up-side, she's been eating well. We've discovered that she loves carrots, peaches, and bananas. She likes peas, oatmeal, squash, pears and applesauce. She really isn't at all certain about green beans, prunes, or sweet potatoes. Originally she liked rice cereal, but now seems to actively dislike it.

Pretty teeth for a pretty girl ... but ouch!! Grandma is sorry for the pain and frustration that is bound to be a part of this process (for mommy and daddy, too). But keep smiling, because you're growing up so fast and even this will pass very quickly!
