Molly Ann Adams: July 2009

Molly really didn't want to go to bed tonight. She was crying and carrying on. When I carried her into her room, she grabbed at the door-frame to hold herself back. I put her in her crib and she cried, but I left the room and closed the door. Less than 10 seconds later "THUMP". I head into her room and Molly is laying on her back on the floor, still crying. I swooped her up in an embrace and she told me that she'd fallen out of her bed. The crying continued. I gave her hugs and held her while she cried. She said she wanted to go back to bed. I put her down, she laid down and sobbed for a few minutes. I came back into her room and gave her a hug and she wanted to go back to bed. I put her to bed and we haven't heard from her since then.

The thump is still echoing in my head.

I think a transition to a toddler bed is about to occur....
